Hamish Symonds - 'Clay & Vapour' Exhibition Dishes

Patterned dishes from Cardiff-based ceramicist Hamish Symonds, created as part of M.A.D.E.'s "The Associates - Clay & Vapour" Residency Programme and exhibited in the gallery from 07.03.24 - 13.04.24.

"In 2023, Cardiff M.A.D.E. selected three associates to join the first of our practice based residency schemes; Clay and Vapour, designed and led by professional ceramicist, Jack Welbourne and a team of mentors.

Combining tutored masterclasses and making, participants were introduced to new concepts and techniques, drawing on expertise of their mentors. The project aimed to push the creative boundaries for the artists involved and develop an exciting collective body of new work to be exhibited in the gallery.

Pieces shown as part of the Clay & Vapour Exhibition will be displayed in the gallery until 13.04.24 and, if purchased, will be available for collection / shipping after this date.
