Previous Exhibition - The Associates 'Clay & Vapour'

Cardiff MADE has chosen three associates to join the first of our practice based residency schemes; Clay and Vapour, designed and led by professional ceramicist, Jack Welbourne and a team of mentors.

Combining tutored masterclasses and making, participants are introduced to new concepts and techniques, alongside visits and introductions to studios outside the locale. Drawing on expertise; it aims to push the creative boundaries for the Associates artists to enable an exciting collective body of new work to be exhibited in 2024.

Mae Cardiff MADE wedi dewis tri cydymaith i ymuno â'r cyntaf o'n cynlluniau preswylio mewn practis wedi’i ddylunio a’i arwain gan y seramegydd proffesiynol, Jack Welbourne a thîm o fentoriaid.

Mae Clay and Vapour, wedi ei ddylunio i wthio gweithio mewn clai, drwy archwilio technegau newydd, a chreu corff o waith newydd ar gyfer arddangosfa Chwefror-Mawrth 2024 yn Oriel MADE. Bydd yn gyfle i weithio gyda thanio llysnur, prosesau adeiladu odyn ac ymweld â stiwdios eraill i ddatblygu cysylltiadau gyda chymuned o wneuthurwyr.
